This activity includes a recording sheet, a sheet of ‘notes’ to cut and glue on to the recording sheet and an answer sheet.
Ideal for small groups.
Excellent for discussing how and why famous inventions came about.
Here is a fun, engaging STEM activity that employs the 21st Century learning skills of Cooperation and Creativity.
Students are tasked with designing and creating a marble maze. They are required to map out a marble maze in their design plan and then create their design out of card and matchsticks.
This resource can be stratified for different age groups and capabilities. Those requiring more guidance may want to use the pre-drawn maze design. Then there is the Map Design Planning Sheet (with two grids in case students need to start again) allowing students to create their own maze. Finally any student may wish to add the extra challenges.
The materials ideally required to make the maze in this resource are;
